Temperature-controlled transport to and from Spain through specialised cold-chain operators, with customs clearance, health inspections and end-to-end coordination by BEIDOU. On request.
Food, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and some industrial materials must travel at controlled temperature from end to end. BEIDOU does not operate its own refrigerated vehicles or cold stores, and we say so rather than promise what we cannot deliver. What we do is organise the full chain with approved cold-chain carriers and handle the part we know best: customs, health inspections and coordination at both ends.
For an importer or exporter that means one contact who books refrigerated transport, files the declaration at Barajas or the port, manages the veterinary or plant inspection at the border control post and coordinates delivery into cold storage without breaking the chain.
Booking with carriers offering reefer containers and temperature-controlled air cargo, between Spain and China or other origins and destinations.
Import or export declaration and coordination of border controls (human health, veterinary, plant health) at the Spanish border control post. We check the health documents with the shipper before departure — with perishable goods, one missing certificate is a lost lot.
Refrigerated trucking from the airport or port to your cold store through partner carriers in Spain.
We check four things: the temperature range the product requires, the health certificates the destination market demands for that product and origin, whether the shipper can provide them, and whether a viable refrigerated route exists within your deadline. If any answer is no, we tell you before you pay anything.
What it is, temperature, origin, destination, volume, timing.
Health requirements and refrigerated options checked with our partner operators. Answer within 48 hours.
Refrigerated transport, clearance, health inspections and cold-store delivery in one document.
Temperature log where the carrier provides it, clearance on arrival, delivery without breaking the chain.
No. We work with specialised cold-chain operators and handle coordination, customs and health inspections.
It depends on the product, origin and the destination’s health rules. Food, cosmetics and certain industrial goods are the most common. Send us the specific product and we tell you whether it is feasible.
48 hours for the feasibility check, then a fixed quote within 24 hours.
Tell us what it is and at what temperature. Within 48 hours we tell you whether we can do it and how.
Own warehouse next to Madrid-Barajas with an authorised temporary storage zone (ADT/LAME) and standard storage: receiving, put-away, order fulfilment and full e-commerce returns handling — receive, inspect, restock, redispatch or destroy — on our in-house WMS with platform integration.
If you sell into Spain or the EU from abroad you need a physical point in the market: to receive stock, to fulfil orders and, above all, to catch what comes back. BEIDOU operates its own warehouse in San Fernando de Henares, ten minutes from the Barajas cargo terminal, for online sellers, brands and importers that do not want to set up their own operation in Spain.
We are not a generic 3PL: the team running your warehouse is the same team filing your customs declarations and booking your freight. One counterpart from factory to end customer.
Unloading, inbound check by SKU and quantity, labelling and put-away. Standard storage by pallet or location, with real-time inventory in our WMS.
The warehouse is authorised by Spanish customs as a temporary storage facility (ADT) and as an approved location for export goods (LAME). Cargo arriving at Barajas can be received before clearance, inspected, sampled or held pending documents without leaving customs control; export and re-export loads can be consolidated on site.
B2C and B2B picking, packing and labelling to your instructions, handed to the carrier of your choice or to our partner carriers across Spain and the EU.
The service most clients come to us for. We receive parcels returned by buyers or undelivered by carriers, identify and inspect them, and do with each one what you decide: restock, reship to another buyer, consolidate for return to origin (China, Hong Kong or elsewhere), or destroy with a certificate. Each parcel is tracked in our returns system so you see its status without asking.
The WMS and returns system were built by BEIDOU’s in-house IT team. Workflows, reports and data exchange with your platform are adapted to what you need rather than forcing you into standard software.
Relabelling, repacking, kitting, inserts, sample quality checks or any other handling your product needs. Describe the process and we tell you whether we can do it and what it costs.
In cross-border e-commerce, 5–20% of orders come back: undelivered, refused, wrong size, defective. If you ship from outside the EU, that parcel has nowhere to go. Many marketplaces require a local return address; without one the parcel is lost or destroyed, and with it the product and the refund. With our Madrid warehouse as your return address you recover that stock. We already run this flow for platforms and sellers operating across several European countries.
We are not a bonded warehouse (depósito aduanero): goods entering standard storage are already cleared with duties and VAT settled. The ADT/LAME zone is for cargo in transit pending clearance or exit from the EU, within the time limits set by customs law. If your operation needs long-term duty suspension, we say so and point you to the right solution.
What you sell, expected orders and returns per month, which countries, what you want done with each return.
Receiving, storage, fulfilment, returns handling and value-added services each priced separately. No hidden minimums.
Receiving and return addresses, inventory and report formats agreed, first shipment received.
Inventory and return status in the system, periodic reports, one contact who knows your product.
Yes. It is the most common use.
Your decision: consolidated and returned to origin, or destroyed with a certificate. We report the status of each unit before acting.
All of them. Tell us the channel and how returns reach us and we adapt the process.
No fixed minimum. Small operations are priced per unit handled.
Yes, by appointment. Av. del Sistema Solar 27, San Fernando de Henares, next to the Madrid-Barajas cargo terminal.
Local warehousing, returns handling or T1 transit for your customers’ cargo in Spain. Back-to-back rates.
Tell us about your operation. Priced proposal within 24 hours.
Road distribution across Spain and the EU from our Madrid warehouse: parcel, groupage and full truck, with T1 transit when needed. Arranged by the same team that clears your customs.
Cargo rarely has problems on the aircraft or the vessel. It has them after arrival: the truck that does not turn up, the delivery that needed an appointment nobody booked, the pallet left at a depot with no notice. BEIDOU handles this leg through partner carriers across Spain and Europe, with one contact who knows where your cargo is at every moment.
We work from our warehouse next to Madrid-Barajas: cargo cleared at the airport or arriving from the port passes through our hands, so it can be checked, relabelled or consolidated before it goes out.
Delivery anywhere on the mainland and the Balearic Islands, from one pallet to a full truck. Parcel for e-commerce orders, groupage for a few pallets, full truck for large or urgent loads.
Groupage and full truck to Portugal, France, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland and the rest of the EU. For cargo cleared in another member state we issue the T1 and ship it uncleared from Spain.
Collection at factories and warehouses in Spain, export clearance at our LAME facility, delivery to the airport or port of departure.
Appointment booking, delivery to logistics platforms, tail-lift unloading, residential delivery with phone notice. Tell us what the destination requires and we arrange it before the truck leaves.
We do not own a fleet and we do not hide it: it lets us pick, for each shipment, the carrier that best fits the route, volume and deadline instead of squeezing your cargo into our own trucks. We compare options, fix the price in writing before loading and track to signed proof of delivery.
Origin, destination, number of packages or pallets, weight and dimensions, pick-up date and any delivery requirements.
Fixed price with estimated delivery time. If the cargo comes from abroad, integrated in the same quote as freight and customs.
Pick-up confirmed, tracking number sent, incidents flagged before they become delays.
Signed proof of delivery for your records or your customer.
Mainland Spain 24–72 hours depending on destination and service; Western Europe 3–6 working days. Exact times with each quote.
Yes. We clear at the airport, receive in our warehouse and deliver to your customer or the platform you indicate.
Yes. We arrange domestic and EU transport for cargo already in Spain, even if we did not import it.
Tell us when requesting the quote and we arrange it with the carrier before loading, avoiding second deliveries and depot storage charges.
Delivery in Spain or T1 to other EU countries for your customers’ cargo. Back-to-back rates.
Tell us origin, destination and volume. Fixed price within 24 hours.
FCL and LCL to and from Valencia, Algeciras, Barcelona, Bilbao and Gijón. Imports from China and any origin with clearance at the port of arrival and delivery to your warehouse; exports from Spain booked directly with MSC, Maersk, COSCO, CMA CGM, Hapag-Lloyd, ONE, Evergreen, OOCL and Yang Ming.
Furniture, machinery, seasonal stock, building materials — bulky cargo bought months ahead goes by sea. We arrange full containers (20′, 40′, 40′ HC) and groupage from Shanghai, Ningbo, Shenzhen/Yantian, Xiamen, Qingdao and other origins to the Spanish port that suits your final destination: Valencia or Algeciras for the centre and south, Barcelona for the east, Bilbao or Gijón for the north. Clearance at the port, coordination with the terminal to cut demurrage days, and trucking to your door. Door to door from China, about seven weeks minimum.
We are honest about transit times. If your cargo cannot wait, we tell you before booking and split it: part by air to start, the rest by sea.
For cargo leaving Spain we book directly with MSC, Maersk, COSCO, CMA CGM, Hapag-Lloyd, ONE, Evergreen, OOCL and Yang Ming. Space, rates and control of the container from your factory to Shanghai, Qingdao, Tianjin, Guangzhou, Hong Kong or any other destination port, without intermediaries. Export clearance, consolidation in our LAME zone in Madrid when needed, and trucking to the port. Door to door to China, about eight weeks.

For food and cosmetics we help with destination registration and health certificates before the first container.
Full containers with pick-up, loading, sealing and line booking; groupage for volumes that do not fill a container, consolidated at origin and deconsolidated at destination.

Full truck or groupage between the port and any point in Spain or the EU.
Invoice, packing list, certificate of origin and any conformity or health certificate, checked in the supplier’s language. We also check what the destination customs will ask for, so the container is not held on arrival.
With the HS code confirmed, duties and VAT estimated before departure.
Fragile or irregular cargo: packaging and lashing reviewed with the shipper. Seven weeks at sea punish a badly secured load.
Origin, destination, commodity, volume in cubic metres or pallets, cargo-ready date.
Ocean freight, trucking, port charges, clearance and — for imports — estimated duties and VAT, in one document.
Paperwork checked, container booked with the line.
Departure, ETA and any rerouting notified; clearance and delivery with the complete file.
About seven weeks minimum door to door: 30–40 days at sea plus pick-up, vessel wait, clearance and delivery. Spain to China, about eight weeks.
From roughly 15 cubic metres a 20′ container usually pays; below that, groupage. We calculate it with your real dimensions.
Yes, at any Spanish port, import or export.
Commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading and, depending on the goods, certificate of origin, conformity or health certificate. We check them before loading.

Tell us what you move, which direction, how much and where it has to arrive. Door-to-door quote within 24 hours.
Air freight to and from Madrid-Barajas: imports from China and any origin with customs clearance on landing, and exports from Spain booked directly with Air China, China Southern, China Eastern, Turkish Airlines, Emirates and UPS Airlines or their GSAs. One quote, one contact.
Urgent restocks, seasonal collections, samples, spare parts, high-value goods — anything that cannot wait seven weeks at sea. We arrange the flight from origin to Madrid-Barajas, file the import declaration in the same terminal where the aircraft lands and move the cargo into our own warehouse ten minutes away. Cargo landing in the morning can be cleared, checked and on a truck the same day, without waiting for another forwarder to release it.
China is our main lane — Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hong Kong and Beijing — but we book from any origin with scheduled cargo service to Madrid.
For cargo leaving Spain we book directly with Air China, China Southern, China Eastern, Turkish Airlines, Emirates and UPS Airlines, or with their official GSA in Spain. That means space in peak season, negotiated rates and one company responsible from your warehouse to the destination airport. Our LAME-authorised warehouse next to the terminal handles consolidation, export clearance and delivery to the airline. Door to door to China, 3–5 days; other destinations on request.
Ham, olive oil, wine, infant formula and supplements, pork and beef; cosmetics and skincare; fashion and footwear; automotive parts; machinery spares and used equipment; e-commerce returns consolidated for return to origin. For food and cosmetics we help with the destination market’s registration (for China: GACC) and health certificates before the first shipment.
Collection at the factory or supplier’s warehouse, document check in the supplier’s language before departure, consolidation at the origin airport or in our LAME zone for exports.
Direct or via-hub routing depending on deadline and budget; flight, ETA and total cost confirmed in writing before departure; updates at every milestone.
Import declaration filed on landing; export declaration filed before delivery to the airline. Classification, SOIVRE, health inspections and inspection attendance handled from our office next to the terminal.
Partner carriers across Spain and the EU; T1 transit when the cargo is cleared in another member state. Duties and VAT settled or deferred before delivery.
Products with lithium batteries, aerosols, flammable liquids and magnets need DGR documentation and approved packaging. We check the MSDS and shipper’s declaration with the supplier before booking.

Origin or destination agent at Madrid-Barajas: pick-up, export clearance and booking, or clearance, delivery, returns and T1. Back-to-back rates, no contact with your customer.

Import and export customs clearance at Madrid-Barajas and every Spanish port and airport: declarations, tariff classification, SOIVRE and health inspections, deferred import VAT, inspections and post-clearance audits. Licensed customs broker, documents checked before departure.
A shipment lands at Barajas and the broker discovers the invoice does not match the packing list. Customs pulls a container for inspection and nobody tells the importer what is missing. Two years later the tax office opens a post-clearance audit and the original broker no longer answers. Most companies that switch customs brokers in Spain do so after one of these.
BEIDOU is a licensed customs broker registered in Madrid, with offices and a warehouse next to the Barajas cargo terminal. Our method is simple: we check the documents before the cargo leaves origin, the same person files, follows the inspection and releases the shipment, and every later exchange with customs or the tax authority goes through us. You deal with one English-speaking contact.
Import declarations for air, sea and road cargo, HS classification and duty calculation, payment or deferral of duties and VAT, origin and preferential tariff claims, inspection attendance and release.
Export declarations (including the documents your customer needs to clear at destination), T1 transit to other EU member states, and re-export through Spain to third countries.
Pre-import SOIVRE quality and safety inspections for textiles, footwear, toys and electrical goods; CE marking, technical file and labelling review before the shipment leaves.
Border control coordination at Barajas and Spanish ports for food, cosmetics, medical devices and animal or plant products.
Qualifying companies can settle import VAT in their monthly return instead of paying it at clearance. We assess eligibility, assist with the application and apply it correctly on every declaration. For regular importers the cash-flow effect usually outweighs any saving on freight.
When customs or the tax authority opens an audit, issues a duty reassessment or a penalty, we assemble the declaration file, prepare the response and deal with the authority in Spanish, explaining each step and option to you in English.
Simplified H7 declarations for parcels under €150, IOSS handling, bulk filing and data integration for cross-border sellers and platforms.
We request invoice, packing list, certificate of origin and product certificates from your supplier, in their language, and check description, values, quantities, materials and HS codes line by line. Most customs problems are avoided here.
Once the HS code is confirmed we calculate duties, VAT and any anti-dumping measures and give it to you in writing. No surprises at arrival.
If your goods need SOIVRE, CE, a health certificate or a licence, we tell you what to prepare and how long it takes, before the cargo is at the airport missing a document.
The declaration is filed the day the cargo lands. If it is selected for inspection we attend, handle sampling and any additional requests. After release, cargo can be delivered from our warehouse to your customer or held in our temporary storage zone (ADT/LAME) pending your instructions. We keep the full declaration file for any future audit.
Yes. We can act as your customs representative and, where needed, help you appoint a fiscal representative and obtain an EORI number before the first shipment.
Registration for monthly VAT returns (REDEME) in Spain. We help you assess whether the volume justifies it.
Document checks usually 1–2 days, physical inspections 2–5 days depending on the goods and the port. Clean documents make it a formality.
Yes. We clear cargo arriving with any carrier or forwarder, import or export.
A fee per declaration, with inspections, certificates and storage itemised at cost. Everything is in the quote; nothing is “to be confirmed later”.
If you need a Spanish partner for destination clearance, delivery, returns or T1 transit — or origin pick-up, export clearance and booking — talk to us. Back-to-back rates, no contact with your customer.
Send us the invoice and packing list. Within 24 hours you have the HS codes, an estimate of duties and taxes, and the list of documents you need.
